Born into an espresso world in Como, Italy, Eugenio Adiletta (or Eugene, for those who want it simple) has coffee in his veins. His parents own a café. At six, he was pulling espresso shots. He mastered the perfect balance of crema, aroma, and consistency.

By the mid-90s, Eugenio took his passion further. A Rancilio distributor in Italy trained him. He learned to fix, refurbish, and troubleshoot espresso machines with surgical precision. But his talents didn't stop at coffee. His family's pasta business got him into industrial design. There, he made molds for pasta shapes that are still on grocery store shelves today.

In 2007, Eugenio launched Genius Coffee N' Espresso Equipment. What began as a one-man-and-a-van operation has grown into a powerhouse. It has its headquarters in Vancouver, a Toronto office, and an upcoming New Jersey branch. Genius has a coast-to-coast reputation for excellence in equipment sales, service, and support.

Eugenio isn't a technician. He's a coffee expert. He has a photographic memory for parts and exploded machine diagrams. Industry professionals call him one of the top espresso techs in the country. His credentials? Stellar. Since 2014, he has earned Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) certifications in roasting, sensory analysis, green coffee buying, and barista skills. He uses these insights in every repair and consultation.

In 2021, Eugenio became the Technical Director for Sanremo USA. He taught others how to make the most of their machines and supported countless cafés and baristas. He even judged a national-level barista competition. This cemented Eugenio's reputation in the industry.

With years of experience and a Canadian legacy, Eugenio is taking Genius to new heights in the USA. He knows coffee, seeks perfection, and makes dreams into espresso-fueled realities.

But at the end of the day, Eugenio is also a husband and father. The aroma of coffee has surrounded his two little girls since they were one. It continued the family tradition. His wife has been his rock and an integral part of the company, always ready to jump in and help wherever needed. Their partnership dates back to the early days of their relationship. They catered weddings together, side by side, laughing over coffee.
